Writing is a lonely business. That’s why it’s important to seek other writers readers teachers editors agents and mentors. I hope this page will help you create your own writing community.
If you are an English writer in Israel who wins a prize, contest or publishes something, use the Contact Page to let me know and I will share the information here. Only upon publication (not announcement of acceptance), send me the title of the poem/ story/ book/ essay (no newspaper or newsletter articles); title of publication, publisher, date of publication, and link, if there is one.
Use the Contact Page to forward to me writing resources in Israel that you feel might help others and I will publish the information.
If you’ve gone to a writing retreat abroad, please leave a comment on this page, with the relevant information, so others can learn from your experience. Let’s help each other become better writers.
I would like to connect with a writing group or create one if I need to do so.
I live in the Afula area and am willing to travel a bit.
Donna Ron
Hope this helps, Donna.
Apologies 4 spelling….
Would like to join Dec 15th writers presentation. I have a short memoir story I wrote several months ago. And I would like to present it for feedback and a future workshop…
What procedure for signing up, writing submissions, etc..?
Best.

In 2013, I will be residing in Israel (either Jerusalem or Tel Aviv) for one year…at which point I’d want to connect with writers, or a critique group. Hope you can help.
Dear Henya, Please email me again when you arrive and I will help you find the right group wherever you settle. Judy
Thanks, Judy. I’ll do that.
I am currently traveling around America, going in and out of different writing retreats.
The Wellspring House in Ashfield, MA, is a great place to go – it is one of the only retreat houses that not only has rolling applications (meaning you don’t have to apply much in advance) but is also very affordable ($200/week in winter, $220 in summer).
I posted on my blog about my experience at Wellspring:
Click here for my blog, Eluvian .
I will be posting about the retreat house I am in right now in about two weeks, and will continue posting about writing in general on my blog. If you’d like, subscribe by adding yourself as a “lover” (member) to my site.
