Loosen Up: A Writing Workout at The Writing Gym

Judy’s Writing Gym at Tmol Shilshom works!  All participants in the 2011 summer session felt they expanded their boundaries. No sore muscles, as in other gyms.  Judy gives writing prompts and you write. At the end you share your writing, only if you wish.

The gym will resume in 2012.  Stay tuned for details.

Wouldn’t you like to spend a few hours writing in this space in downtown Jerusalem?

Great site – clear and welcoming! Is the Wednesday evening workshop in Jerusalem still open?

As we all anticipate the pending close of 2011 and the welcoming of 2012, I am particularly enthusiastic to join this writers’ workshop, since I celebrate my 39th brithday on Jan 2nd. And as a kind of prelude to this cause celebre,’ I have decided to pursue my writing seriously in Israel, even if only a part-time basis…I spent my 1st yr here in JLM, virtually not writing with any gusto or discipline, just here-and-there. My NYear’s resolution is to start writing and producing my writing seriously with the goal of getting exposure, mutual exchange, and collaboration with other writers. i want to be publish in the near future. That’s what I’m committed to Judy.

In the interim, please add me to list of writers to join this group in 2012.
    חנוכה שמח!
    Best.

    • Dan,
You’re most welcome to join the Writing Gym, but be aware that it is not a workshop. It’s a place to generate first drafts and find inspiration to write. I’ll put your name on my list and let you know when we’ll begin. All best, Judy
